It is self-reflection time for all of us. It is mandatory sanctuary for us all to discover our depths, face our fears, embrace our hopes, to get lost to find ourselves yet again from an elevated perspective.

It’s time to realize how precious this little life is… To dive into the simplest and yet the most important aspects of being alive as a human on this planet called earth. Our health, our loved ones, our communities, our homes are our priorities. We are in full appreciation of the invisible heroes of our lives like essential workers, social workers, farmers, producers… To all those who are in service to ease our everyday existence on this planet. (Please lets hearth fully intend to be extra respectful to those who are risking their lives every day to make life possible for us today. Let’s intentionally find nurturing, loving words and ways of appreciation to express our gratefulness for their service. And let’s never forget how precious those people are for us all.)

We are grateful for technology for keeping us all connected and providing tools for us to collaborate today, from our homes. It’s our companion, our window to sanity (or insanity, depending on our human algorithm) and our means for expression.

And most of all, for the masters, philosophers, teachers, gurus (however you would like to refer to them) who has chosen the less travelled path to embrace who they are and bring essential tools for us to cope up with this unknown we all are a participant of. Today those tools are life savers for us to make sense and hopefully to come out of this tunnel intact as healthy exponential humans with heart/mind/soul coherence.

Today, we are at a point of introspection. We can either cling to our old perception of living, of creating, of being on this planet and be hopeless of what is yet to come. But let’s face it, we all know that things are going to change. Or we can welcome this change as an opportunity for transformation to become more human, to remember the essentials and to build new on an elevated perception of what could be. Today is the time to see, to feel what is not working, what is not serving for us all to thrive and start building new systems, heartful collaborations to preserve this precious world and elevate our existence on this planet.

And today, I would like to take you on a memory lane. Just over 3 years ago with some of the original founders of our Love Mafia, we made a spontaneous decision to travel as a pack to Barcelona to unveil the first House of Beautiful Business. Our session’s name was “Thrive with your Tribe”. As tribe members, we were 8 individuals from 5 different countries searching for new ways of operating in this world within our fields. We recorded our sessions there, but we have been so busy living out our intentions that we never found the time to share with you. And today, I would like to invite you to watch them to reflect on the old-world order, on working, on our perception of living at that point in time. We have always had belief and hope within us, driving us. And yet, maybe some doubt about when and how we would end up seeing – and being – the change we all want to see in this world. Maybe today, more than ever, we can all benefit from the voices of ourselves back then – to the Markus, Eda, Ecmel, Ayşe, Rachel, Ceren, Semih, Özgür and Leszek of 2017 – who were reflecting on this question. Maybe the time has come for us all to do the same?

When the storm is over – and it will be – may we not forget, and may we continue to do all we can to create a better, sustainable, joyful future for us all to thrive. The beauty we are all searching for outside is inside. Let’s dive in, make peace and take actions on from the muses we find in our introspection.

Hepimiz için kendimizi izleme zamanı. Hepimizin derinliklerimizi keşfetme, korkularımızla yüzleşme, umutlarımızı kucaklaşma, kaybolduğumuz yerden kendimize daha üst bir perspektiften bakarak bulma zamanı.

Bu küçük hayatın ne kadar değerli olduğunu anlamanın zamanı… Dünya olarak adlandırılan bu gezegende insan olarak hayatta olmanın en basit ama en önemli yönlerine dalmanın zamanı. Sağlığımız, sevdiklerimiz, topluluklarımız, evlerimiz önceliğimiz oldu yine. Bu gezegendeki günlük yaşamımızı hafifletmek için hizmette olan zorunlu işçiler, emektarlar, çiftçiler, üreticiler gibi hayatımızın görünmez kahramanlarını takdir etme zamanı. (Lütfen bugün hayatımızı mümkün kılmak için her gün hayatını riske atan bu kişilere yürekten saygı ile yaklaşalım. Hizmetlerine minnettarlığımızı ifade etmek için bilinçli olarak sevgi dolu sözler ve takdirimizi ifade yolları bulalım. Ve bu insanların hepimiz için ne kadar değerli olduklarını asla unutmayalım.)

Bugün, bizleri birbirimize bağlı tutan ve bugün evlerimizden iş birliği yapmamıza olanak sağlayan teknolojiye minnet duyma zamanı. Teknoloji bugün bizim yoldaşımız, akıl sağlığımıza açılan penceremiz (veya insan algoritmamıza bağlı olarak kaybolmamıza da sebep olabilir) ve dış dünyaya kendimizi ifade aracımız.

Ve her şeyden öte, içinde bulunduğumuz bilinmezliğin içinde değişimi anlamlandırmamız için gerekli araçları sunan, az bilinen yolu tercih eden ustaları, filozofları, öğretmenleri, guruları onurlandırma zamanı. Onların asırlardır sunduğu bu araçlar, bizim bugün içinde bulunduğumuz tünelden kalp/zihin/ruh birliğinde çıkmamıza vesile olacak araçlar.

Bugün, iç gözlemdeyiz hepimiz. Dilersek eski var oluş, yaşama ve yaratma algımıza sıkı sıkıya tutunabilir ve gelene dair umutsuz yaklaşabiliriz. Kabul edelim, hepimiz biliyoruz ki gerçek kabul ettiğimiz yaşam kesinlikle değişecek. Ya da bu değişikliği dönüşümün daha insani olması, yaşamın temel unsurlarını hatırlatması ve yüksek bir farkındalık ile gelenin inşa edilmesi için fırsat olarak tanımlayabiliriz. Bugün, bu değerli dünyayı korumak ve bu gezegendeki varlığımızı yüceltmek için yeni sistemler geliştirmeye ve inşa etmeye başlamamızın, neyin işe yaramadığını ve neye hizmet etmediğini görme zamanı.

Sizleri bugün geçmişe yolculuğa çıkarmak istiyorum. Yaklaşık 3 yıl önce, Love Mafia’mızın bazı üyeleri ile, House of Beautiful Business’ın ilk etkinliğine değer katmak üzere Barselona’ya bir kabile olarak yola çıktık. Panelimizin adı “Sosyal kabilen ile birlikte geliş – Thrive with your Tribe” idi. Kendi alanlarında yeni işleyiş yolları aramakta olan 5 farklı ülkeden 8 kişi olarak gerçekleştirdiğimiz bu paneli kaydetmiş olmamıza rağmen, niyetlerimizi yaşama geçirmekle o kadar meşguldük ki, sizlerle paylaşma imkanı yakalayamadık. Ve bugün, sizi bizlerin o günkü dünya düzeni, çalışma ve yaşam algımız üzerinde düşünmeye davet etmek istiyorum. Her zaman içimizde yolumuza sımsıkı tutunmamızı sağlayan inanç ve umut vardı. Ve yine de belki de bu dünyada hepimizin görmek istediği değişikliği ne zaman ve nasıl göreceğimize dair bir nebze de olsa şüphe. Belki bugün, her zamankinden daha fazla, bu soruya ışık tutan 2017’nin Markus, Eda, Ecmel, Ayşe, Rachel, Ceren, Semih, Özgür ve Leszek’in seslerinden faydalanabiliriz. Belki de hepimizin aynı içsel gözlemi yapma zamanı gelmiştir?

Fırtına bittiğinde – ki biter- hepimizin gelişmesi için daha iyi, sürdürülebilir, keyifli bir gelecek yaratmak üzere elimizden geleni yapmaya devam edebilir miyiz? Hepimizin dışarıda aradığı güzellik içimizde. İçsel yolculuğumuza çıkalım, kendi gerçekliğimizle barışalım ve bu yansıma esnasında bulduğumuz ilhamla harekete geçelim.
